Seem to recomend these guys to everyone, but I would get hartlake to do it. They are miles cheaper then BMW and considerable cheaper than munic legends usually 50%. Give them a call and get a quote on 01474 326626. They are A BMW specialist and work a lot with m cars and alpina's, based in kent and I use them now all the time. I drive over there with my golf clubs, they lend me a car for the day/half day I go and have a round and the car is done when i come back. Great service

If you're insistent upon maintaining a BMW extended warranty, I guess you're going to want to get it done by a stealer. Other than that, I'd recommend going independent every time.

As long as you find a good one. Ideally one that, as sohlman said, is used to working with M cars. They're obviously sufficiently different from the regular 320 to cause problems if they're not switched on (some dealers have been known to put in the wrong oil etc.)
