Recently changed my Steering wheel (With airbag) to an after market Isotta Valengua??(Or something spelt like that.....)
Now obviously the Airbag light is on permantly, any way to fool the light into thinking the airbag is fitted, or is it a case of removing dash/filament? I have measured the airbag wiring, has a resistance of 3 ohmns through the two wires...But what is the circuit looking for??? Capacitance/Resistance or a self check of airbag itself??? Any Help appreciated.....Thanks

Hartlake Specialist cars based in kent should be able to sort that one out. They can do any manner of electronic work on BMW's and I can't recomend them enough. Fast reliable and not exspensive. Telephone 01474 326626

Mark - I know that Roy from www.ca-automotive.co.uk has the same wheel in his E36 - migt be worth asking what he did.

Are you selling your other wheel? My E36 GT has the old style M3 wheel and the later ones looked much nicer?
