Electric mirrors not working

apologies if this has been covered already but i couldnt find in the search..

basically ive got a 98 E36 328 coupe and the door electric mirrors arent working either side (although only controlled by drivers side). is there a quick check/fix ie a fuse or is it a job for a sparky/garage?

I would check fuses first. Quite easy to do, check the manual to see which fuse control them and if that fuse controls anything else. If it controls something else, check that and if that's not working either then you've found your problem. If not have a look at the fuse and replace it anyway (can be difficult to see when some fuses have blown).

If not it's probably a BM dealer job.

cheers for the advice. spot on, just replaced the fuse and its ok now :-)
