Does 31k seem reasonable for a new shape M3?

(Its at a main dealer, its 2001Y with 15k miles up and is in Topaz Blue with Grey Lthr, 6CD, Arm rest, 18"??)

No sat nav or 19" wheels but the price seems very good to me for the mileage?

I've been window shopping these cars and this is not bad from a dealer (I presume you are going to haggle down). I think it's cheaper as a lot of cars have the bling 19" wheels and the Sat Nav. One theory is that if you are going to keep the car a few years don't bother as they'll end up looking like a ZX Spectrum by the time you will sell!

Cheers,

Andy.

It sounds like a good price, but go and ask at www.bm3w.co.uk. You will get helpful adivce, I promise.

Utterly mystified by the Spectrum reference.

What I meant that technology advances at such a pace, that in a few years time you now all spangly Sat Nav will look naff.

Cheers,

Andy.

The bells and whistles won't get you much extra cash when the time comes to sell, but it might make it a bit easier to shift when compared to another car of the same age / price band without Sat Nav etc.

Apart from that, it's also really useful when travelling about the place on unfamiliar roads / routes.

I'd be more worried about the color (inside and out), but that's just my humble opinion.
