330Ci Clutch Problems

My son has booked his 330Ci into a main dealer to get the clutch checked out, - it has not only become very fierce, but difficult to engage gears. I have read on a different forum, where somebody has had 3 replacement clutches to thei 330Ci, and was wondering if any other forum members had experienced similar problems

I haven't had those problems as such (well touch wood) but mine is mighty twitchy! Its very high and if you don't get the bite just right you get lots of revs, lots of smoking tyres but you go nowhere....to the novice it looks pretty cool though! LOL
