E30 318is Central Locking

I currently have a central locking problem with my E30 318is. I replaced both driver and passenger door actuators and the control unit relay located in the driver foot well behind the speaker. Seems to work OK one day, then having left in the deadlock position overnight, can only open the drivers door with the key. It's getting to be a bit of a pain filling up at the petrol station, dismantling the boot interior and all that. Plus my lady has to climb over the centre console, which admittedly isn't too much of a problem for me with the summer months and skirts approaching. Never the less your advice would be appreciated...

the central locking on my E30 318is has stopped working too. i don't have any problems with locked doors and filler caps though. anyway, i just use the car as if it never had CL in the first place, using the key for all the locks. do you know why you cannot get in to the passenger door?
