Looking for some ideas on this problem...

Just got back from a 7 day break and my 330i is not feeling too good.. It is feeling sluggish from cold and has stalled a couple of times when changing the auto box from drive to reverse... Should also add it has taken three or four turns of the starter, on one or two occasions, to get it going, it has always started first time.. The car idles fine and there is no miss-firing or hesitation, it just feels very sluggish...

Once driven for a few miles it seems to be OK.. I thought it may be damp where it has been laid up for a week but I would have thought it would have dried out by now...

Thanks in advance

Mark...

Hmmm, sounds like a possible inlet cam sensor fault. You'll need to have the car connected up to a diagnosis system like DIS to tell for sure.

Thanks for the info...

I suppose I am surprised that something like this sensor failing would not register an error code and light the engine check light... Looks like it has failed all together as it seems a solid power loss problem now... Runs as sweet as a nut no hint of miss fire etc but feels down on power by until 3000rpm...
