No prob, BMW spec for front toe is +9 minutes with a tolerance of +/- 4 minutes for each wheel.

Cheers. Although interestingly the BMW TIS that I've now found states it as 18min at the front +-4

Yeah i got the spec off TIS aswell, 18 is the total front toe, ie 9+9.
When i adjust them though i ensure they are 9 dead, no point in doing half a job!

Well, I tried and eventually failed to get the tracking right. Could work out that every time I rolled the car forward and backward to check the reading it had changed.

Finally spotted the lower wishbone joint at the wheel was moving. New joint on order. Anyone know how difficult to replace?

They are ok if you have a press or the tool for pressing them out on the car. Where in Kent are you? I could offer my services as i've done many of these.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll give it a try first. Hopefully it'll come with a conventional ball joint splitter.

Am situated next to brands hatch in a village called Ash.

But if your offering your services, do you have the diagnostic kit to turn off my Airbag light without the usual BMW pricetag. On my E39 M5 which seems to be constanly on since I was daft enough to connect an ebay diagnostic tool to it. frown I think it would need recoding?
