What do people think about Hartge Classic 2 Wheels on an E92.

This is a link to what they would look like:

The car we are collecting tomorrow has the standard 17" wheel fitted.

There ok Catherine, but always considered 'Hartge' too bling, for me if none genuine wheels its got to be Alpina or BBS

I have to admit those are the only Hartge ones I like.

We have a catalogue here from BMW and I can get about 15% off catalogue price.

I like BBS, and I did think about a set of the replica CSL wheels they do.

Not sure about Alpina, I only thought they did the "turbine" style wheels which have never done anything for me.

I think the Dynamics look great, though I do love the 'Classic' Alpina Look and Alpina are pure class (and of the highest quality) and will always be worth something second hand when (ie 6mths !!!) you sell the car

Excellent, there is some nice stuff there. Not sure if 197 is the closest to a geniune CSL wheel.

Perhaps the new ones look bling but not the old style. I have old style 15" on mine

Sorry Cotty I'd sooner see yours on 15" Classic BBS rims, person taste I know. though i appreciate they are 'period' and respect that.

I tend not to like Alpinas on E30 because they are invariby copies

You would be supprised how much lighter the Hartge wheels are compared to the BBS's

You'll find some better pictures of Hartge products on Birds website.

How can you consider Hartge too blingy?! They've always been that 'wolf in sheeps clothing type', that's what they're known for.

Hi Catherine J

Unfortunately because I'm a new member I'm not allowed to email for the next 24 hours, which I can't understand.

All prices are up on the website though, as well as some pictures.

Thanks

Hi James,

Ah well I have a problem with your website and I think it is because I am on a mac. When I click on the model the page doesn't load properly. So perhaps when you are up and running you can email me.
