Logic 7?

I'm about to place an order for a new 3 Series Tourer and want to upgrade from the standard HiFi. As I see it, there are 3 options:

- the Hifi speaker upgrade from BMW (circa £400)
- Logic 7 from BMW (circa £800)
- get the standard set up and take it to a Car Hi Fi specialist and ask them to do it

residuals don't worry me as this is a company car

I'm tempted with the last option as I believe that £400 or so would get me a system to rival Logic 7 fof less than half the price

Thoughts?

I'd go with Logic 7.

A decent speaker (Diamond HEX series) setup will cost £1500.

bloody hell, £1500, I am out of touch

not heard a Logic 7 system but seems to get good feedback on here...and the spec certainly sounds good in the brochure

In all honesty, the BMW upgrades ae great VFM. You would probably need to spend well over £1500 on the aftermarket to get something that sounds better than the Logic 7 system.

Thankfully, lots of people do!

Had a E60 sport with standard set up, and it was excellent,on this experience i didn't bother with an upgrade on my E92 expecting it to be even better.
What a mistake!!! Go Logic 7 my friend (wish i had)

I did the same!
Should have at least spec'd the HI-FI option! Just had a quote from Prestige Audio, and to replace the front door speakers, under seat speakers and install tweeters in the door next to the door mirrors £500-£600.

So GO WITH THE LOGIC 7!!!
