i need some help on the value of this car. I'm have put it up for £8800, but as of yet i've not had a respose. Could someone in the know give me a better idea on what i should be selling it for? It doesn't need to be shifted this second so i'm not going to drop to silly prices, but i don't have a clue on how much it is worth.

here on PH, its on Autotrader and it will be in the mag too. but as mentioned it's been up for around a week and a bit and nothing.
I've re-submitted the one on ph, hence the date of only a day.

My personal opinion, based on not much more than a feeling (I'm a previous owner of an E39 535 though) is that it's about £500 too expensive to get some quick interest. It looks like it's in top nick, but the market is really harsh on big cars like this because of the perceived running costs (which are not too high for the type of vehicle it is, but high compared to other more mundane cars at similar prices).

Try posting it on various BMW forums aswell - you're bound to pique the interest of an enthusiast.
