BMW servicing costs question....

I bought an E36 323i about 4 months ago and its just about to get its 60,000 mile service.

Does anyone have a rough idea what this would cost provided they find no other problems? Used to have an MGF so am used to silly garage bills but have heard BMW charge through the nose.

Is that an Inspection 1 or 2, or just an Oil service?
And if it's older than a P plate it's quite resonable

Well, its reading oil service on the dash board but the servicing bloke reackoned at that mileage it should have an inpection 2.

There are a few other niggles i want them to look at as well.

Did it have a full service history, if so you can check the service book to see which service is due (assuming the stealer bothered to stamp it).

Whereabouts in the North West are you as there a good few independents around Warrington/Manchester.

Yeah i get my 94 318i serviced at a specialist in Warrington,

I paid £140 for an inspection 1 a few weeks back (72,000)

Not sure on the inspection 2 but less than £200 if i remember correctly.

Yea, car came with a full service history. I am based in Fallowfield (near Rusholme)

But under the Four Plus prices, a main dealer would have only been.......
£129 for a 1
£189 for a 2
