My PDC goes wild every time i select reverse and then the PDC light flashes. I suspect one of the sensor's on the back bumper has failed.

My question is how can i tell which one and how do i replace it (if its one of the center painted ones ) ? confused

How much should i expect to pay for the parts and is there an alternative to genuine parts ? ie is a VW one the same and cheaper ?

Many Thanks in advance

Have you got a carsoft/other diagnostic kit?
If not, put the PDC on and go around each sensor and listen, they should all click.

They are childs play to use, just plug into your computer and press a few buttons on the computer, look on ebay, carsoft is the most effective, but specific to BM.
I had the same problems, bought a pair of new sensors off eBay for £35

OK, had my good ears on and no clicking from any of the sensors, is the clicking from them or the PDC controller in the boot ?

The actual sensors should click, if you can't hear anything, then the PDC unit may be broke? Or all of the sensors may be broken.
A diagnostic check will be your next step.
