E36 328 Sport brake pads and disc recommendations?
Discussion
Hey all,
After having finally killed off my pads on the front trying to hang onto the back of a certain famous M5 of these forums on Saturday, I've found out that the brake pad sensor doesn't work until after the pads metal on metal
I've obviously being very light on the brakes today until I can swap the pads.
However can I ask what people would advice/recommend for replacement pads for the E36 328 Sport, and if people think I need them, what replacement discs?
Also, is swapping the pads on the BMW a particularly hard job?

Thanks for the replies chaps
I ended up having to drive straight to my trusty G.S.F. branch and paid £60 for some Mintex Xtreme pads as they didn't have any EBC Green stuff in stock (£35) - a pad I had good results with in the Golf. A bit more than I envisaged, but I was stuffed and I wanted a higher performance pad.
Took a couple of hours fitting it myself, some new swear words, but first impressions of my autobahn commute indicate a better pad than before, with some serious bite.
Can't knock those prices
