Anyone here know if there are issues with registration on the e36coupe forums? Its a moderated registration process, and I've been waiting about a week to get mine accepted.

I just picked up my 318iS on friday, can't get the smile off my face, and want to touch base with the rest of the community.

When i was taking my son back to his mums yesterday morning, i opened it up coming off one of the (many) roundabouts on the Basingstoke ring road. My lad went and said "That was scary". Then he asked if I could do it again. He's only 5, but he's got low octane stuff running through his veins already cool

Never been able to register now 6months since i first did i still have had nothing i have been told its really not the best place in the world to go for general chit chat about the '36. Better off at bmw world forums or the bimmer forums.
Hope you enjoy your 318is as i have the same car -its a cracking motor.

Apparently there was a thread on this only 2 or 3 weeks back; it's really not a bad place to be for E36 BMW ownership. The site owner is called Kul and he administrates the website with a chap called Russ. They mentioned a few weeks back that they have other vocations in life (jobs etc) and they put a lot of work in the keep the site going; they just request your patience, although admittedly a week is a long time to be waiting to complete the registration imho. I think if you can email Kul, then he will sort things out for you.

Regards.

Might I also please link the e36 website log in "help" link to assist.

I hope this doesn't offend those good people at PH towers.

Thanks for that, pm sent.

I'm seriously enjoying the car, first time I've truly enjoyed car ownership since I had an 85 Corolla GT (AE82).

And I'm obviously not pushing it hard enough either - first half tank got over 30mpg
