330d sport- facelift or not?

Guys my dilemna is whether to buy an excellent 184bhp model or go for the facelift 204bhp model. Both will eventually be chipped so I was wondering in real world terms, will there be a big difference between the two?
What were the differences in the engine upgrades,bigger turbo etc or is it just an ecu tweak. The two cars i've seen are £2k different.

The 204bhp model was from March 2003 production.
