525d M Sport or 530d M Sport

Just got a fantastic deal on a 525d M Sport. Individual Paint and Interior, heated seats, upgraded aircon and loadspeakers, media package and auto box. I drove one and it was great. One question, I keep thinking that I should be going for a 530d instead. Money is a factor and I am wondering if the extra power is worth an extra £4000. They have one in the same spec as the 525d inc 19 inch alloys and HUD. Will I notice a massive difference??

I find there is a significant difference.

The problem with the 525D is that if people want economy they will go for the 2.0d and if they want performance its the 3.0/3.5 so personally i think you will be hit slightly more with depreciation on that model.Fuel economy will be virtually the same between the 525D/530D

Well, drove them both and was perfectly happy with the 525d. Could not ignore the deal put to me.

almack,Good choice sold a 525d Sport Touring to have a disco 3 - WRONG!!
525d has plenty of go,a bit bumpy on uneven roads but thats what you get to have a motor that goes round corners properley! and they look the business in sport trim. You won't be disapointed!!!!!!!!!
