BMW 330 CI Sport Tyre question

Hi,

I have just picked up a 330CI sport which needs new tyres and i am unsure as to whether or not the current tyres are the correct sizes and if not could someone tell me what i should be replacing with please.

the car has 18" MV style alloys

As it stands - Fronts are 225/40/18 Rears are 255/35/18

I am sure i read somewhere that the fronts are different to what i have on it at present?

Paul larger rear tyres (255 section) was an extra on the M-sports-Check the owners manual if you are in doubt

225 40 18 front 255 35 18 rear, that's what i've got. think that's standard pressures running at 31 psi all round. need to replace the fronts soon but have noticed that it's worn more on the centre. So perhaps could come down a few psi on the front

If you look on the drive side it tell you what size the wheels should be. When you open the door look for a black paper sticker its says there. Also 31psi is wrong tyre pressure. The rears have more pressure than the front.

Yeah mate, the rears should be inflated to 42 psi, and 49 if you're 4 up with luggage. Can't remember what the fronts should be, think it's about 34.
