My 2000 330ci makes a slight whining noise from the interior fan, mainly at the speed it sits at when its on auto and up to temprature. Its driving me mental, is there likely to be an easy fix?
Also theres a rattle in the drivers door, which is also doing my head in, how do i get the door card off?

Cheers

I don't know about the fan but here's a link on how to remove the door card.

I think the fan could be the bearing that is wearing and making the annoying noise, unless the fan blades are catching on somthing inside their housing. It may be a dash out job to get at it though. I'd leave it be and just turn the stereo up a notch or revel in the the tasty noise the straight six makes!

Good link, exactly whats required.

Shame about the fan, I think it sounds more like a dry bearing than the blades connecting.
More right foot needed to drown it out!
