A part from its a stunning piece of engineering and the fact it feels quicker than my boxster (surely not!) a couple of things occurred to me as i drove back from the dealer...

First thing was how best to protect the paint work, especially as its Sapphire Black which looked wonderful in the sun but I fear will need more attention than most other colours. Second, I felt the arm rest was too far back and now regret not speccing a sliding a/r. From what i can see it's easy enough to retrofit. Anyone suggest the best place to get hold of one cheaper than a dealer?

cheers, Brian.

Quicker than your old Boxter ??, i would think there's not much in it standard but remap the derv and I suggest it will leave any boxter trailing in it's wake..

Squeezebm, decided to go for an ex. demo in the end as the offer was a good one. Spec. was decent with nav, sunroof, Voice control, bluetooth, electric heated seats and a few other bits. I wanted folding mirrors and hi-fi upgrade but the deal wasn't worth ignoring for these. To early for mpg but can say it's very smooth and very quick. Heard good things about the DMS chip and for £800 or so it may be the next thing I add.

I have the 535 M Sport, same engine. DMS takes BHP to circa 320 and adds nearly 25% to the torque, which turns it into a v v quick car. 335 DMS'd will be staggering.

Rode behind a 335 on the way into work today, better looking than the 5 with the twin exhausts, black one to.

DMS it, you know you should.driving

I had a DMS 535D but the new DMS 335D has to be a beast, its now pushing out 340bhp and 506lb/ft

DMS - it is really tempting. What's the deal with chipping and warranty?
