dodgey key fob on me 318 ci

Tempremental key fob,works when it wants locking / unlocking. Bit of a nuisance when unlocking in the mornings when it sets off the alarm. Got a feeling the key is not charging properly in the ignition. Before i spend 100 squids for a new key fob. Any ideas guys ?

normally a key fob fault,do you have the spare to try for a while

unfortunately not.. Gonna be a new key fob I think the key fob maybe the least of my problems.. Engine telltale light came on yesterday and the airbag light wont go out, can see a big repair bill coming up !
