Just got the shock of my life when a stealer offered tyres at a competitive rate!

Not only that but when I got the price to import from Germany where I normally buy my tyres, he dropped his price by about £50 per tyre and matched the import price... including fitting & VAT!

And they're not standard fit for M5's either - I'm switching to Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's as opposed to the BMW Conti's fitted as standard.

E39 or E60.

Let me know how you think the 2 tyres compare.

Which means, like most stealers (BMW or other) he was taking the pee with his original price.

Not really because I buy them in Germany at a price that most tyre companies can't get. My local outfit couldn't buy Goodyear F1's (on the Evo) from his ditributors for the same price I was getting them...

E60.

Have a look here: www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=MP

The Conti BMW standard fits were well down in the survey...
