E46 Ci boot width?

Sorry for the tedious question guys, but would someone please measure the actual internal dimensions of a 3xxCi boot. It's on my list (when the cash-for-car comes through) and I want to check it can carry a particular item before I go and waste anyone's time. The bit between the turrets/arches does not look very wide in the pics.

The only spec's I have found are in litres - but I'll be shifting a bass guitar amplifier, not milk.. and the bit between the turrets/arches does not look very wide in the pics.

just had a look on my 2003 330ci 3ft between turits by 3ft. pop the seats down and you'll probably have another couple of ft. ( all measurements roughly by tape )
