After a long time coming I've just acquired a 330ci. Steel Blue, half leather, MV alloys, Harmon Kardon etc.

Now here's the question, as it sits the car has the wood effect trim on doors/wheel/gaiter/dash etc, now although perfectly adequate I want to know how difficult it is it change that to aluminium/carbon look. With the blacj interior and colour scheme it just doesnt seem quite right.

Anyone had any experience with changing these bits or where I might be able to get them from, plus if you can, how difficult it would be to fit them/cost etc.

Cheers all!!

I did exactly this in my E46 a couple of years ago (wood for all.)

Its easy easy to fit *except the sterring wheel can be fiddly

I got the official BMW stuff and the whole kit cost about £300. not cheap, there are other kits out there but i wanted it to look as BMW had intended.

well worth it though.
