Z4C delivery delay

Anyone had any info of a delivery delay on Z4 coupes? I've just been told that the delivery date has gone back 2 months (nearly doubling the delivery time).

The dealer has no idea why and no confirmed date. I'm tempted to cancel the order - I hate the lack of info or seeming care from BMW/Dealer.

It will be worth the wait, I am really delighted with mine.

I wonder if it is because they are ramping up production of the X5 (I read somewhere that the 2 cars share the same production line)

Alternatively ask them to source you a stock car already in the UK.

Indeed, this is what happened with mine, couldn't be fussed with the wait for factory order so the dealer found one to the spec I wanted in UK stock.

Mine also was a stock order. It identical to what I wanted so a factory order would have been a waste.
