Here's the new addition to the stable.

2000 MY 528i Touring. Paid 7k for her, 55k, she drives beautifully. Very heavy acceleratro pedal for some reason, have to get that sorted. Otherwise very nice.

Looks a good buy for a moderate mileage E39 touring... Leather and Automatic?

Update the lights and wheels and you'll have a great looking car, Turbine Alloys look very dated now IMHO

Leather yes, auto no. My 330d is auto and I like it but not that much. It's nice to have a manual.

Lights yes, any tips?

Wheels, can't get too excited to be honest. I've got big FO wheels on the 330 and they are an utter PITA to clean.

Other thoughts welcome!

Someone PLEASE tell me why some BMs and Mercs have REALLY heavy accelerators. I mean so heavy that the power is either on or off. I have found it in a '98 C200, '99 318is, '96 328iA, but my '98 740i and '93 325tds have perfect smooth sensitive analogue travel....

To be honest BM's I have driven in the past haven't really suffered too badly from it. My 330d has lovely weighted peddles.
