Hi again! my 2nd hand 318 has so many problems!
Does anyone know where the fuse for the CD changer is? (which number??)
Also if it breaks can I take out the CD changer(the CD box) manually?
Should be a fuse in the back of the CD changer. Might be one in the fuse box too. In the e46 it's at the top of the glove box.
You can disconnect the cd changer without any problems.
There is a fuse on the unit itself.
Most changer faults are to do with the changer itself.
There is another fuse but off hand dont know the number but it will be in the main holder in the glove box
CD changer aside, what other problems have you had?
I had a 2001 318iSE not too long ago and it is (was) the best car ive owned, 4 years, 110,000 and not one problem, absolutley faultless!
you are lucky mate as today I found that my radiator is also leaking...!
