Electric windows

2 of my electric windows now operate at half the speed of the others, and sometimes give the impression they're not going to make it all the way closed.
What is it that is giving out here? I'd assume the motor, but it's "pausing" on the way up, so is it likely to be anything else?
If not, i'd guess swapping to new motors would be the fix?
