anybody know:

1) what month and what year M5's received teh new widescreen satNav

2) what month and year they recived the new aluminium trim that runs across the dash

3) what months/year the steering wheel changed to the one thats on the m3

2001 for sure, about March

I thought that was standard from day 1, the wood is an option.

steve .. i like the M5 a lot

test drove one recenlty

seems like a perfect family/single car at a bargain price

im going to drive teh new s4 as well but it'll be dearer and depreciation is bound to be an issue

I think that vines in Surrey have an M5 with latest spec and it is a Nov 2000 car- so the answer is probably all 2001 model year cars which is probably from Oct 2000
