7 series question...

hey guys,
just a quick question...as my dad gets a company car every 3 or so years...he is looking at a 7 series for his next car
currently he is driving a Ford 500 AWD Limited with a CVT...
If (when?) he switches over to euro cruiser I'm sure the handling will dramatically improve, so will he have a hard time adjusting?...as his mentallity is 'I'M AMERICAN LETS BUY A PLASTIC, AMERICAN CAR!' he's driven american vehicles his whole life
with the exception of a Lincon LS V8 grand touring...all of his previous cars handle like shite

P.S. does it have sat nav built in? as he has become attached to 'Maria' (yes he named it, he's just goofy like that) his current system...
