I have yet to get any LG's to pair which is not what you wanted to hear.
The scope of phones that will pair is very narrow.Only the most common seem to work (sony eric, nokia, motorola)Even with these only a few models work fully.
Only now are the Blackberrys starting to work.

A few people now get a dual sim card to put in a second older compatible phone to just use in the car so keeping the same number.

Just remember to switch phones as you get in the car.

Well Ive just ordered a 330DSE co car, and when I tried two of my nokias (E70 and 6820) neither would pair properly; even the dealer said the BMW bluetooth compatibility was shakey, so I took it off the options; I can get a proper wiring harness/nokia cradle that charges the phone and mutes the stereo, and I know that will work for just over £200 fitted rather than a definate 'maybe' from BMW for £535 (plus cradle).
Factory fitted options like phone prep and sat nav are just such a rip off now the aftermarket stuff has been properly developed (you can download you phonebook and run the phone through a touchscreen Tomtom which is another option)
Not much help if youve already bought a car though.

Unfortunately BMW and Nokia no longer work together,so none of the new or future phones will be tested for compatability by BMW
