Useless? How?

It works perfectly in my car.

To the OP: the instructions are ina separate booklet with the handbook. If you have a compatible phone, it will work.

I've probably just been unlucky - I have had my 3 series coupe sport for 3 years and mine hasn't worked properly in all the time I have had it - dealership have tried to sort on 9 occasions and I have changed my phone 6 times to no avail but basically I can make calls no probs full compatability with phonebook etc but no-one can hear a word I am saying - maybe an over cynical reply on my behalf but 2 of my colleagues have had the same issues.

To OP you will need to obtain the pairing code number for your car from your dealer and if you need a copy of the pairing instructions then mail me thro my profile and I will send you a copy of mine.

Mine is rubbish (320 cd)I've moved the microphone it made sod all difference. The issue seems to be road noise as it is better when driving very slowly. My bus partner has a 320es and has the same issue

Sounds stupid but is the mic not the main plastic type box in the centre of the car?
