I was in dire need of some food, so popped into Chavsda (Asda) on the way home and when I cam out, some tike had scraped the corner of my bumper.

The car is Orient Blue, so it is not too noticable, but I want to get it repaired. I havent taken it to a dealer as I know they will probably take best part of a grand out of my wallet.

Is there a more cost-effective alternative. I have heard of a service through Halfprds where a mobile spray repar chap comes and sorts things out, but want to look around for a good deal.

All suggestions gratefully accepted.

Thanks.

Chips away or one of those type of companies are what you need, if you are friendly pop into your local BMW stealer and ask someone on the service desk who they use. HTH

You might want to ask the BMW garage how much, I had to replace the bit of trim under the bumper (anti-aquaplane something I think they said) and it wasn't too expensive.
