According to the dealer a transporter is about to arrive at the dealer with my new baby and I'm so excited!!!!!

I've got my Z4 2.5 Si Sport awaiting delivery on 1st March. It's almost killiong me waiting for it to become MARCH. AAARGH!

Picture quality isn't great as it was taken on a camera phone, plus we couldn't get a side on shot because it was packed in with lots of other minis and BMW's ready for March 1st.

Please tell me it has shipping wax (or whatever they call it now) on. I'm starting to worry about my colour choice.

Are you having any sort of paint protector put on. I've been offered all sorts of insurances by the dealer (which get my standard no), but I'm considering the paint protection. Any views?

No there's no shipping wax on it, as I said remember the picture quality isn't great.

I don't think you need to wory about the colour choice, it looks great.

I'm not having an paint protection as I don't mind waxing my car. I've always felt it was money for old rope.

It was amazing down there today. 3 weeks ago I parked in the same area and there were 2/3 bmw and about 4 minis.

Today, you couldn't move for cars. A lot of them had already been prepared and were wearing 07 plates.

Nooooo, trust me it's stunning. The car they had in the showroom in the same colour but with beige leather was outside yesterday. It looked truly fab and had just as much presence as the Ruby Black Z4MC at the side of it.
