Looking to buy an M Coupe...
Discussion
Hi everyone. This is my first post.
I'm looking to buy an M Coupe very soon and I was hoping a few of you could give me some free advice on how to avoid buying a lemon and how to pick out a peach.
I've been searching the web and there seems to be a lot of stuff on forums about problems with Vanos units on a few early models. It would be brilliant if somebody could explain what these problems were and how to avoid buying an M Coupe with Vanos problems.
I've driven an Z3M Roadster a few times and found it quite comfortable. Could someone tell me if the interior and seat positions are exactly the same in the M Coupe?
As much information and advice offered would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Firstly, I'm looking at buying a Z3M Coupe, not an M3. Apologies for the confusion and I now realise I should of stated that.
Secondly, I can not register on the www.Z3MCoupe.com website because I do not own a Z3M Coupe...yet!
Any further help would be greatly appreciated.

I knew it was the ZM Coupe you were interested in buying, but the engine is exactly the same as that in the E36 M3 Evolution, and both cars suffered with exactly the same problems with the Vanos unit.
I just refered you to the M3 post to save me typing it again, I should have made the above bit clear in the original post, sorry for any confusion.
