Has anyone on here used the above garage for servicing their BMWs? Please be mindful of name and shame rules!

I used them about 6 months ago for a service and they seemed fine. I'm used to company cars so paying for a service came pretty hard. I've another service due shortly and I'll go back to them for that. Unless anybody has a good indi in the Brighton area they could recommend?

Good independents seem very thin on the ground in Brighton & Hove. There is one in Rottingdean just behind the High Street - but they don't have a sign with their name on it! No idea if they're any good, but I do see a lot of cars there. Normally anything from late 80s to late 90s, but some newer stuff too.

GM Motors, Montpellier Road. Run by 2 brothers - always busy decent chaps who know what they are doing.

Alan's a good old-fashioned "Car Surgeon" who knows what he's talking about. He was replacing a cylinder head gasket on a 4-pot BMW this evening when I dropped a Mercedes off

He's the first person I turn to when I need specialist knowledge. For Mercs and BMWs I think he's one of the best
