DO these things actually work? Thinking about putting one on my Z3 2.0. Does anyone know of any adverse effects on the car? Feedback seems very good for them. Can't really go wrong at that price, unless it wrecks the engine...

As with all of these £5 whizzo modules it's just a 2p resistor you add to the water temperature sensor to make the ECU think the engine is running colder than it is. The result is the cold start fuel enrichment is on all the time...more fuel used, more bore wash, won't help the CAT etc etc. Those claims in the advert are pure BS!
Steer clear, if you want more power tune it the proper way.

Agree, i got 20bhp extra from a 1.9 M44 via superchip, induction kit, bbtb and exhaust.
