Anything interesting about the 120s like launch controlhehe? i've got one as a courtesy car on monday not sure if it's a diesel or a petrol yet though and am quite tempted to see what it can do...

Mine had lots of interesting features like hyperactive ABS, recalcitrant gearbox and reluctant engine. Not much of any use though.

I regularly drive a 120D auto. I've not had any problems with it at all, bar a couple of minor electrical gremlins which were easily sorted.
Drives very nicely for an auto . I don't usually like auto's but I cant really fault this one. The sport mode is useless, as the normal mode seems to do a better job, even when you do want to press on a bit. But you can dial in the gears manually if you like, which has its occasional uses.
Torquey motor and nips along very nicely while still being very good on juice. Just sounds horrid at idle and plain boring once on the move. But thats 4 pot diesels for you. I've heard worse mind..

No idea what the petrol 120's are like. But they have a lot less torque so make your own guesses.
You can turn the DSC hoopla off if you wish, but I cant say I have bothered with it. Its quite a nice and fun car to drive without playing with that.
