e39 Steering Wheels

I'm still looking for an e39 bmw and have seen a few however none of them have the sports steering wheel which i much prefer to the square looking one.

Whats a rough cost of getting a second hand one fitted? is it even possible with the airbags etc.?

I know what you mean about the steering wheels! The E39 I have just bought has the Skinny m/f wheel, which is a shame but it has grown on me. The beefy sports wheels are much better to use/look at (strangely the only E39 I test drove with this this steering wheel, had those not so nice 16" "turbine" road wheels)
As far as I know the steering wheels are interchangeable, but airbags are not(between wheels). So you need a 2nd hand wheel from a car that has not been invloved in a "front-ender" where the airbag has not deployed. (buying a new bag from BMW will be £££££'s).
