After a three year gap, a change of job means I'm about to return to BMW, picking up a 2003 325i Sport on Friday, even for a 52,000 mile 4yo car it drove so sweetly.

One thing though, I want to install some sort of iPod integration (it doesn't have a CD changer). What I've read on here suggests going the Denison Ice Link route - is is possible to browse artists, albums and playlists through the standard BMW head unit with on of these?

Cheers

Paul

Welcome back to the fold. Just a quick question...Was that airscarf any good or just a gimmick?

I've still got the SLK (BMW replacing Toyota company car), and yes, Airscarf is good but I'm not sure that I'd have paid extra for it if speccing new.

getting back into a bm even after a short spell away feels just like getting home. Its odd but even a bad bm is better than a lot of other makes.

Always remember my old 325i at 100K i though the gears were starting to get notchy, then drove a 1 year old ford scorpio hire car, got back in mine and was like "wow waht a lovely gearbox!"

sometimes you have toi be step back to aprechiate what you had.

I agree completely. There is something so fundamentally 'right' about the way modern BMW feels. I was temepted with getting a Lexus IS as a change from a BMW but it didn't come close in terms of driving pleasure.
