Has anyone got a list for a 1997 E39 523?

my OBC is coming up with
83c228
868200
8c8400
Any ideas?
The idle is wandering and somtimes cuts out and holding back when driving.
Ive cleaned the MAF was told it maybe that or the 02 sensor.

Any help would be greatly apreciated

Thanks.

Thats a tough one!

Those numbers dont ring any bells and i've been through loads of info and found no reference to them. Most fault codes are 2,3 or 4 digits.

When you say your OBC is giving those numbers how is it giving them?Or have you got a scanner?Interested to know how you got them.

As for the fault idle and cutting out its either going to be the MAF-to test this theory dissconnect it and go for a test drive-The DME will adopt substitute values and give relatively normal driving-this will leave a fault in the system and will need to be cleared.Or you have an air leak(probabely in the manifold area)We used to get a few issues with the oil seperator(cyclone-under the manifold)they used to split, and also the throttle bodies used to play about.

If the Lambda was giving a fault they more often than not put the EML light on.
