Anyone have any ideas about the 330CI Clubsport? I want to change the exhaust and take the Cats off. I heard there are no emmisson equipment after the manifold is this true?

I would like to change the suspensions on the car too but i don't know what to lower the car by because its been lowered as standard. I think its 15mm lower than the sport model. Which is the best kit to get?

The car has had a remap by DMS. They've done a great job on the remap. You can feel the power and torque has improved. Also its a lot smoother. As for fuel consumption, the car is a lot better.

alright,

I have a clubsport and yes it has the suspension setup of the M3 (uprated and lower than standard). If you want to lower it then I would go for Eibach springs and shocks or if you have the money get some coilovers.

As for the exhaust i went for a Blueflame cat back. I cut the pipes just after the cat amd fitted the new exhaust. Much better noise and looks!! no difference on MPG
If you want a full system then i would recommend registering on EvoTechnik and having a chat with CA automotive. They build custom exhausts and have 3 noise levels. Quality stuff!!!

I had mine remapped by Simon at Emaps. Have noticed a difference but not with MPG

Its got the same setup as a M3? Didnt realise that. is there much point lowering it then? I could just keep it the same height and make the settings stiffer with different springs and dampers.I will definatly change the anti roll bar and place struts up front and back.

As for the exhaust I'm not sure. The emmission sensors will sense different emmissions and cause errors on my ecu. I might change CAT back. Did yours make any difference to performance?

I havent heard of the company who remapped your ecu. I found DMS in the BMW magazines. I heard the are quite highly rate. The magazine did a feature on them and they said they were a great company. They come to you and do the job outside your house or office and they write the program there and then for you car but its not cheap.

Anything else you have done to your car??? I spoke to the guys in DMS and they saw a 330CI in Malaysia which had a M3 throttle body and another part to changed on it and it was ment to be quick!!! I trying to get info on the car now and what parts was changed.

I stand corrected over the suspension. Allthough i have read the Clubsport is uprated and is 15 - 20mm lower than standard. I won't be changing it lol.

I feel the car performs slightly better with the new exhaust and sounds much nicer. My MPG has not dropped with it.

I feel with the e46 BMWs they are all over the place once you hit high speeds. ~I want to keep the same ride height or maybe lower it a bit more and change the anti roll bars. By doing this it will handle a lot better.

I will look into the exhaust. I have seen some nice work about on exhaust systems. M style do a nice quad exhaust with th M3 rear bumper but it's very pricey.....

Thanks for the response....
