Can I retro-fit heated seats in an E46?

Chaps,
I have electric memory seats in my 51 plate E46, does anyone know if the cars are pre-wired for heating the seats and do the seats have the heating pads fitted as standard?

Is there an easy way to check, short of taking the seat out and dismantling it?

Yes you can and no they are not pre wired.

The retrofit kit number is 61 11 0 301 538

This takes about 8.5 hours to install.

No idea on cost though

You would also need to order the seat covers separately aswell as they arent included and yours wont have the elements in them
