I'm considering leaving the world of TVR and buying a M3 and have a few questions.

I have about £27k to spend when I sell my beloved T350 what will I be able to get?

What is a CSL?

What’s the difference between sequential and SMG?

The E46 M3 CSL is a fair way beyond 30K even today. SMG is a form of clutchless gear change with paddles controlled by a microprocessor but if you buy an E46 M3 make sure it has the latest software upgrade. SMG is standard on the CSL. The M3CS is a great car if you can find one and if buying an M3 pre June '03 make sure the crankshaft bearings have been replaced under warranty. Great cars and wonderful engines. Most people have gone for non SMG cars when buying new and get 18 inch wheels as the handling is better than on 19's.

As for the TVR I would hate to comment on how much you have lost!
