B@stards broke in and screwed window frame! Help!
Discussion
Well yesterday my dad borrowed my car to go to manchester in. On way back, he stopped at service station and slept for a bit (woke up 5am after 4hrs sleep) and then went to go get a coffee. This one time he forgot to remove the sat nav and 5mins later some pikeys had smashed and grabbed.
Damage? Not just window, but the window frame on the door! For some reason it seems they used a crowbar or the like to bend it to try and maybe force a wire/pole through! Oh and also my steering wheel now has a nick in it
Options? Window was replaced today but what can I do about the frame? Seems like I might be able to replace just that bit? (Black bit on door btw) And what should I do about the steering wheel just leave it or find a 2nd hand one (it feels horrible turning now, you can feel it sticking out).

You didn't say what car?...Guessing from your profile it's your 320d?
Options?
1.Well, you could claim the whole lot on your insurance? Don't some insurance schemes cover you for 'vandal damage' with a lesser excess payment?
2. Try to fix the whole lot yourself depending on how handing you are...get the bits you need from a breaker like 'FAB' and Ebay....they'll be 'how to do' instructions somewhere for just about any repair on a BMW somewhere online.
Sorry to hear about your misfortune...maybe one day one of us will catch the shits in the act!...They better pray it isn't me!
Best of luck!
