Hi,
Is anyone able to recommend a good indie BMW workshop near Canary Wharf to replace the shocks and tighten the steering on a '98 540i please. The suspension feels soft and steering a little vague. Am guessing shocks and steering mechanism must be worn. This is with 55k miles.
Thanks.

Leyton Service Centre (Leyton High Road, E10) have a very high work standard - they are BMW & Nissan specialists. Speak to Bill, he's a talented mechanic and owns the place.

Or I now use www.bmwcarservices.co.uk in Knockholt, Kent. They are not near CW but by god they are the nuts.

I use Highams Park Motor Co. 0208-523-3443. About 20 min from Canary Wharf.

All ex-BMW master technicans that work there, they look after both my BMW's and have done for a number of years now. Really know their stuff. thumbup

I would echo M3John. I also use them and they are very good. Right by Highams Park Mainline station as well, which goes into Liverpool Street - if that helps.

Ask for Danny or Mike and tell them that Dean Jones sent you, they'll sort you out
