I saw a 335i convertible on the M4 this evening. As he got on at Jct 10 heading east I thought initially it was one of the new Volvo C70 CC's but he pulled into the gap in front of me and I spied the twin exhausts.

I got a bit closer and noticed the BMW propellor and the 335i (335ci?) badge had been covered over with black tape.

A little later in traffic I pulled alongside to check it wasn't me just mistaking a standard 335ci and it clearly had a folding hard top.

Yes, I know this thread is usless without pictures but when I tried to... I mean my passanger tried to take one and in Friday night traffic in the wet and dark it didn't come out too well at all. boxedin

It was funny because the driver could see me trying to pull alongside with my passenger holding the camera and he kept on accelerating or braking hard to stop me getting a shot (which worked).

It's a good looking car too. More handsome than the coupe imo and no doubt it'll sell like hot cakes!

Keep your eyes peeled as around Bracknell area you will always see a few 'oddities' being moved around

I saw the new 7 series at twin bridges in Bracknell about a month before launch: badges were all taped up (even wheels). I thought "that could be a BMW but it's so different!"

Interesting.

What's in Bracknell then? BMW HQ or some kind of testing house?

Why drive like a tw@t to avoid you taking pictures? Official pictures of this car have been on the 'net for weeks now!!???
