Yet more E34 problems...

Right, bear with me on this. 
My car had a shudder/wobble around 56-58mph, which, through various sources, I'm lead to beleive was the upper control arm bushes. So I changed them today but its made the shudder worse, only at about 60-65mph instead
I also changed the steering box because the steering was very vague, and there was alot of play. I got one with a 3 month warranty for £60 so thought it was worth changing. But it hasn't made the slightest bit of difference. None of the track control arm bushes etc are worn (that I can see/tell) so any ideas what else I could check/change?
And when changing the s/box I must have got an airlock in the PAS system, cos it now makes a horrible noise, kinda sounds like South Parks dying giraffe
I've done the thing when you spin the steering wheel from lock to lock to get the air out, but it still makes the noise, and it gets louder with revs. Have I mullered my PAS pump, or could it be something else??
And finally, how much money could I get if I broke the car down for spares? 150k 24v 2.5L M50 engine, factory LSD, "used" g'box, 4 bbs wheels etc etc.
I only ask as there's no way I can see me selling it as is (not for decent money) and I dont really have anymore cash to put into for new parts (good money after bad etc)
