Tractio Control Fault

Hey everyone - hope you can help me. This weekend I started getting a flashing Traction light and now it is permanently on together with the (1) light. Before I spend huge amounts at a garage, any suggestions as to what it might be, and if its serious?

Probably just a wheel speed sensor.
Get a diagnostic done to be certain though.

Like Vee said, but try to find a local independent BMW specialist if you can as it's far cheaper than a dealer.
