My friend is the chap that just sold that car.
I can't disclose exactly what he got for it...but let's just say it was comfortably into double figures. An asking price was never listed on PH...it was listed as P.O.A
In fact, I'm expecting him here in about 10 mins!...He's coming down to Shropshire to pick up a nice 840Ci Sport I helped him to source locally to replace his E28 (and the other E28 he sold about three weeks before the red one).
As you may notice the pics of the car were taken by me at my house. The red E28 can also be see in the background in some of the shots on this slideshow:
